Triumph Delayed

Elizabeth's Holy Trinity
The Chrone picks up her pen and
Dips it deep into the well of
Memory,
Each word set to tomes of
Arcane myth and
Mystery.
She coos as each image
Wails to life in her mind's eye,
Newborn dreams given birth
By the Muse with
Three eyes.
Despair meets its death
As her youth yearns
To breathe again;
The Maiden returns
With a cry of dismay
Her memories, once writ,
Now; faded and gone.
Triumph delayed.

If you asked what I've written lately, this entry is really about all I've got to offer. I've got some ideas rolling around but I can't quite get them on paper. I go through phases of "Awesome Idea!" and "What Was I Thinking" which really doesn't produce much at all. I've got one poem that I really like and think is more or less finished and polished. Right now, I'm working on gathering poetry and trying to get some poems together for possible submissions. And the novel is on the back burner. I'm having some issues with the approach to the story. I think I need to figure something out so that the narrative clicks. In the meantime though, I'm going to try and just keep writing scenes maybe something will come to fruition through that.
